Finding the right therapist is vital. The quality of the therapeutic relationship dictates the depth of the work. I am an empowerment-oriented therapist who believes that in every person there is an impulse towards personal fulfillment. Often this impulse has been camouflaged for its own security. I believe that unpacking outdated mental scripts and family of origin patterns is a way to redress one's conception of self. When witnessed and supported with compassionate attention, clients find within themselves the ability to redress negative personal narratives. My goal is to assist clients in identifying ways to return to joy and balance.
Some of the people that are drawn to working with me are artists, performers, dreamers, group facilitators, creative people, women in transition and adolescent girls. I also specialize in career explorations and enjoy working with people on the autism spectrum, or their loved ones.
I believe that my clients are experts on their own lives. I support them in sustaining warm-hearted self-awareness. I assist them in becoming intentional choice makers.I bring unconditional acceptance and a good sense of humor.
