Credentials, Fees and Resume Highlights
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). My License # is C3168 OR. I am also a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC)
I accept most types of health insurance, call your insurance company to check whether you have mental health coverage and ask about your co-payment to see an LPC. I am a Preferred Provider with Pacificsource, Providence, Moda, Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield and Trillium
Fees:
$150 a session is the billable fee. However, if you choose to pay in full at the time of the session, you will be offered a 20% courtesy discount, making your discounted fee of $120 per session.
Cancellations
if you must cancel a session, please give at least 24 hours notice or you will be charged the full fee for the reserved session. Please note: Insurance cannot be billed for missed sessions. A missed session fee will be an out of pocket expense.
Education:
I have a Masters in Counseling from Oregon State University (2006), a Masters in Telecommunications and Film from University of Oregon (1989), an LTCL (1986) from Trinity College, London and a Higher Diploma in Journalism (1986) from Rhodes University, South Africa.
Brainspotting 1 training: Brainspotting is a trauma support modality resource that I use that is available for clients to try out and use in any sessions.
Teaching Experience
I taught “Women in Transition” for 10 years at Lane Community College. I designed and taught a course at the University of Oregon called “Be the Change: Career Development meets Social Action,” and taught online career development classes through the Professional Outreach and Development Department of Architecture and Allied Arts at the University of Oregon.
